Weekend of Nightmares

Good Morning Bloggers,

What a weekend I have had! I will spare you the ugliest details, but I have seriously considered putting my life onto reality television.

On a good note, yesterday was ‘Chicago Day’. My sister, grandma + friend, and I received tickets to Chicago the Musical for Christmas. We had matinee tickets in the balcony. I was pleasantly surprised with how great the performance was! Some of the choreography was al little hokey, but it really was quite a good show! Afterwards, Grammy, Katie and I met Geoff at Moxies for dinner. Which again as really fantastic! My Grammy and I get along extremely well (we have always said our souls were so compatible that we must have been great friends in another life) and I was reminded kindly yesterday. So it was a good ending to an emotion filled weekend.

Well, so I guess I can reveal a bit of the drama from Saturday night. Geoff and I went over to my Dad’s condo to have dinner and movies there as per usual. Everything was going great and it was time for Geoff and I to go home. So we had just left the parking lot and were pulling onto the highway when we get a frantic call from my sister saying that my Dad kept falling down/passing out and we had to come back immediately. So we pulled the safest possible U-Turn and headed back there in fear that my dad was having a stroke or a heart attack. We got there and banged on the front door until someone walked by and (luckily) let us in. When we got up we THANKFULLY realized that it was a false alarm and my dad was fine. Apparently his new blood pressure medication wasn’t agreeing with him. It’s Monday morning now and I still feel the shock from that night. Quelle soirée!

Anyways, hope everyone’s weekend was nice too!

XOXO
